Sure to get completely looked over in a week that will see new releases by artists such as Pearl Jam and Paul McCartney hitting store shelves, Boardwalk’s self-titled debut could be the sleepy pick of the week.
I’ve missed writing about music. Who knew it would be a ‘black metal’ band that would inspire me to put more effort into getting this site back up and running? I know very little about this genre and, frankly, most of the stuff that I’ve heard scares the crap out of me but I’ve been listening to “Vino Verso” from Oranssi Pazuzu‘s new album ‘Valonielu’ non-stop since getting a link to it in an email earlier today.

Both bands are celebrating a 40th anniversary – for Lynyrd Skynyrd it’s the anniversary of their debut album, for Bad Company it’s the anniversary of their formation.
With that many years of music under their collective belts, the hits will be flowing on this 12-date summer tour. Blackstone Cherry opens all dates except for July 27.
