After watching their 2007 album A Weekend in the City show up online 3 months before the official street date, Bloc Party has learned a lesson and is now willing to give in to those who just can’t wait for a physical release. Starting on Thursday, fans will be able to purchase a digital copy of the band’s new album, Intimacy, through Bloc Party’s website. If you’re in the U.S., it’ll cost you just a penny more ($10) through Bloc Party’s site than it would if you were buying through iTunes. For $20, you’ll get the digital album on Thursday and a physical copy of the CD in October.
So, will you be downloading?
